Russian forces launched a large-scale overnight attack against Ukraine on Wednesday, with drones and missiles targeting areas including Kyiv and Odesa.
Ukrainian authorities reported damage to residential buildings and critical infrastructure, while several civilians were wounded. Ukrainian forces also carried out attacks inside Russia as both sides continued to increase pressure on each other.
The latest escalation comes as European governments consider further measures to support Ukraine and respond to Russia’s ongoing military campaign.
